Sage Stomp - Edith Hill

May 18, 2009

The Sage Crew had a great time and we thoroughly enjoyed hosting you all. We even provided cool running for the last day … not Kamloops-like weather at all (more like California!). I enjoyed my walk in the rain going out again to look for #96. I figured if 21 other people could find it, I could too. And I found it at last.

I want to thank Murray for setting the courses, Peter for handling registration, John for controlling the event, Ernie for helping with the start, Brendan for helping with pick-up, and Frances for handling the snacks.

We did have prizes for the class winners but the finish location and the rain didn’t make organizing awards easy. The prize consists of a jar of Kamloops honey, so we aren’t mailing! We’ll deliver at the BCOC’s in June, or possibly COCs in August. Or call in and demand your jar if you’re in the area.

 Until the next time

 Alan Vyse, Sage O Club
