Six Mile

May 8, 2011

Course set by Brendan Matthews

The C event at Six Mile was a big success despite the cool weather thanks to Brendan Mattthew’s great courses. Thirty one hardy souls showed up to enjoy the day. The courses took us around the lake where we were greeted by the newly arrived swallows, coots and ruddy ducks and a few inebriated anglers. Up in the hills there were bluebirds and meadow larks in the grasslands, and ospreys nesting on the power poles. Orienteering at its best!

You will see that the long course was a little shorter than advertised, which might explain why Brian May was so fast!

Good luck in the BCs Brian
