The OBC Junior Competition Subsidy program is designed to encourage junior orienteers to participate in major O competitions both within North America and elsewhere (e.g. JWOC) by providing a subsidy toward their registration and travel costs. For the current fiscal year (2019-20), the Program has a budget of $3000 to distribute to juniors who meet the criteria laid out in the policy. Club presidents and coaches should make their juniors aware of this program, and of the application deadline (March 15, 2020) for requests for funding based on orienteering activities/events between April 1, 2016 and March 31, 2020.

Note that it is also possible to apply in advance for anticipated competition/training costs associated with upcoming 2020 events.
