OOMap (OpenOrienteeringMap), is a UK website with a nifty mapping tool designed to convert the freely available OpenStreetMap files into perfectly usable street-O maps with just a few keystrokes. The accuracy of the mapping is dependent on the quality of the OpenStreetMap data for your area, but for quick mapping of your local neighbourhood for O training purposes, OOMap provides a simple route to a very adequate product without requiring you to have any talent (or time) for mapping.
Non-UK users will want to look at the “Global edition” of OOMap – the other editions are for use in the UK, Ireland and Denmark.
